Members of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee have issued subpoenas to Obama Administration officials for information related to the Fort Hood gunman that killed 13 people in November 2009. The chairman of the committee, Joseph Lieberman, and the ranking minority member, Susan Collins, are upset with Obama Administration for failing to provide witnesses and documents related to Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Muslim solider who is being prosecuted for the killings. This particular type of attack on Americans should not be tolerated. I feel that we as Americans have the right to know what is going to happen to someone who has committed such horrible crimes as the Forthood gunman did.
The problem is the lack of gun countrol in this country.
