My favorite music happens to be country music, I listen to it all the time, of course I like all types of music but country seems to be what I listen to the most. I like George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw of course there are many more that I listen to, these are just a few off the top of my head. I recently attended the Tim McGraw concert here at the State Farm Arena and found that it was a great concert, totally worth every penny, he sang several of his greatest hits, he says he doesn't believe in taking breaks and was singing his songs back to back. Lady Antebellum opened up for him and did a great job as well. There are several people who don't really care for country music, but I find that it can be very inspiring some of the lyrics in certain songs relay important messages.Country
I totally agree with you! I love country music! I love every single country singer that you mentioned and more. I enjoy listening to other types of music, but country has a way of putting a smile on my face. I can always relate to country music no matter what mood I am in. I absolutely love it!

It's amazing the ignorance that some people have towards country music. I actually used to be one of them. I used to think country music was for dumb rednecks and hicks. But one day, I pondered about it. I was tired of listening to the liberal punk trash on the radio, and I knew country music is mostly conservative. I started listening to Toby Keith, and I loved it. Moved on to Montgomery Gentry, then Big n Rich, then Tim McGraw, then Van Zant, and pretty soon, I was loving country music. My eyes were opened big time, it was a huge shock. A lot of people that say they don't like it have never really heard it or know what it's really about.

I also love country music. I lived in New Braunfels, TX for five years and the country music scene is really big in that area. I use to go to country concerts at least once a month. It was nice because there was always some sort of concert going on nearby and I miss that. It is hard for me to listen to country music very often anymore because most of my friends do not enjoy it as much as I do. They also don't let me listen to it in the car because they say I know every song and sing every song and it gets annoying.

I most deffinitely like your taste in music. I am a person who enjoys listening to different types of music, but when it comes down to me having to choose it will always be Country. This kind of music makes me really enjoy the different messages it has to give from sad to happy. I've always admired country singers talent. I am not a fan of concerts too many people but when George Straight came down i knew i had to see him and the performance. He most deffinitley makes me believe every word he says. I do know one thing country music rocks doesnt matter how old or new the songs are they are all great.

I aggree, Country music is really good music but lately the quality has gone down. I like Tim McGraw since he stays true to the genre. Lady Antebellum also stays true to country but I think that Taylor Swift should be not allowed to show her face on CMT. Her music is not country and she is butchering English Literature. In her song Love Story she gets the stories Romeo and Juliet and The Scarlet Letter completely wrong.
